2018 Region 19, Head Start, & Wells Fargo Scholarship Awards
El Paso, TX – ESC Region 19 presented ESC Region 19 & Wells Fargo Scholarship Awards. This event took place at ESC Region 19 Head Start on May 23, 2018. ESC Region 19, in partnership with Wells Fargo and Head Start created a scholarship for students throughout our region that attended a Head Start program and are on track to graduate with their original cohort. The intent of the scholarship process was to prepare all scholarship recipients with skills and experiences that make ready to confront the challenges of continuing their education after high school through a large grant made possible by Wells Fargo and matched by ESC 19. Over $43,000 on scholarships was awarded to students on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the Head Start MPC on 11670 Chito Samaniego.
